At times you may wish to speak with your doctor over the phone. We ask that if your reason for calling is a medical emergency, please dial 000 for an ambulance. In these cases, do not call the practice.
Our friendly reception team will otherwise take your call, and if necessary, they will provide your doctor with an internal message to inform your doctor of your call. Our reception team will need to inform the doctor of your reason for calling. This will assist your doctor when addressing your message. Your doctor will then follow up as necessary. You may be required to make an appointment to discuss any concerns.
At Bulleen Plaza Medical Centre we are committed to providing our patients with the highest level of care. We work collaboratively with our patients to ensure the best possible health outcomes are achieved. At times your doctor may request that you attend other services for further investigation which will assist in providing you with the overall best health care results. You are required to make a follow up appointment with your doctor to discuss these results. As a patient, it is expected that you will take responsibility to attend to those external referrals and follow up with the results.
We have a recall system that will send you messages to attend for your results or review consultation, however we ask that you actively participate in your follow up visits. Please don’t disregard these messages.
